The book series amulet is an exciting read. Being a graphic novel, you can witness the amazing  illustrations of all the places and characters vividly, and feel as if you are there with them. The first book, titled the stonekeeper follows the main characters, Emily and Navin Hayes, who have just moved to a quiet, strange town, on their quest to rescue their kidnapped mother,who has been kidnapped by a group of strange creatures. While fighting bizarre and weird creatures that try to stop the siblings with their rescue, Emily struggles to control her newly inherited amulet, which tries to control her thoughts, and make her join the stonekeepers. Amulet is a series about courage, facing your fears, and most of all, trust. It is a must read, definitely 4.5 stars!
